Mine is doing the same thing. Been working fine and now nothing! No red lights, not set to HD! It just quit. I tried a DVD player with TV and it works fine. HELP!!

Same problem for me - No output to the screen, sometimes it has sound. It started off as a fault only effecting the HD but now doesn't work through SCART either. Replaced the cables, still nothing. It's just dead. No red lights either, all looks normal.

My son xbox was working fine and then he said it slowly died. No setting changed, sound occasionally works, on the TV -No signal appears. Lights on front look OK. Just about to pull it apart but I think troubleshooting is above my technical knowledge

yeah i have the same problem i have just got my 360 back via UPS from Microsoft, after it began to get the red lights. anyway the report said that it was dvd drive and mother board. now all i get when i turn it on is a blue screen. all the scarts are working fine. i have tried turning it on and off, and checking all the fittings but still just get a blue screen. so i have got in touch and they are going to pick it up again....

Have you made sure that your TV settings are correct? Some require a certain input. Also, are your cables hooked up correctly?

Have your tried turning your television on/off rather than the X-Box?

Is my tv or hd cables for my xbox360 broken

it sounds like you need to go to "display settings" when you have the HD cables in and turn it down to 420p or 720p, it sounds to me like your resolution is too high.

Hey. im having trouble connecting my xbox360 to my new sony bravia television. the problem is that the audio and video are appearing on to seperate channels. not sure if the problem is with the xbox or...

I have a real good vibe that its your xbox 360. Have you tried to connect your xbox 360 to any other tv's? if the problem doesnt occur on the other tv's then its most likely your xbox 360. &here's a tip about playing games on new tv's. I know the tv must of cost alot&it's real nice but, if you play it on the bravia too much it's going to mess with the colors. Like white or blue looks kinda yellow. Thats what happened to my 80' inch hitachi big screen. so that's a big heads up!

Xbox 360

make sure the TV in the correct mode, VIDEO, COMPONENTS.

if it was working before. a button might have been pushed by accident.

also your xbox360 may have died, you can try it on another TV to be sure, even though the lights come on doesnt mean the xbox360 is working.
