Hi I have a blaupunkt car 300 radio cassette in my vauxhall and I have lost the code,I tried to get the code from a local repair shop he gave me 2 codes none of them worked and now the tries left are down to 6 then its the bin, shame really, the serial number is 90533422 type car 300(E) can anybody help???? regards steve.

i dont know the code but if you contact the manufacturer maybe a technician can help you no promises i had a few that knew less than me best of luck with your problem

your code is 4 8 3 8

Switch on using the ON and AS buttons pressed together

Then LEAVE SWITCHED ON ...UNDISTURBED for as long as it takes to automatically reset itself

Once reset , enter the correct code

Press AS and your radio should work

Go to any vauxhall main dealer if its original radio/cd they will give you code for a £10..hope this helps

You need to hold down the as button then switch the radio on, if this dont work then leave radio on for an hour or two then try again.

if it does show a number first this is the attempts that you have left to enter the code.

double check that you are getting the ignition voltage to the radio. other than that, you may have a faulty unit.#

HY ACORDING TO THE MANUAL YOU SHOULD TURN THE IGNITION ON SWITHCH THE RADIO OFF PRESS THE AS BUTTON WHILE YOU TURN THE RADIO ON,AFTER 5 SECONDS YOU SHOULD HER A BEEP AND ON DISPLAY YOU CAN SEE 10SAFE AFTER 5 MORE SECONDS YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO ENTER YOUR CODE USING FIRST FOUR BUTTONS FOR 0-YOU PRESS ONCE AND SO ON WITH THE OTHER DIGITS.

you could try holding the power and AS button simultaneously until your hear a dull beep. then it should allow you to enter the code
