I'm using nokia 9300, & i turned it off when i turned it back on, it kept restarting, the phone turn on then the nokia logo show on the screen and then it turn off, it keep doing that without getting to the desktop screen. I tried reseting it, took of the battery, recharged it, nothing worked, i tried formating but i could not since it restarts before i get to the point of the format screen. Any ideas ?

Inorder to format your set,you can use following tips; FOR HIGHER ORDER PHONES(LIKE N,X,E series..): Dial *#7370#then your phone will ask a securitycode,there you can type your code.then it wil format and restart.
FOR OTHER MULTIMEDIA NOKIA PHONES: Here you can't format yourphone,but you canreset it; For that,go to;SETTINGS-RESTORE FACTORY SETTINGS- AFTER CLICKING IT, your phone will ask a securitycode there you can type your code.then it wil format and restart. That can be a software bug. Try a general reset of the phone and see if this problem is back. If it is, do a Operating System update with a cable and Nokia Suite software. Your PC must be connected to internet.
On the idle screen press *#7370# and the phone shall ask you weather
you want to restore the phone to factory defaults? Select Yes, it shall
ask you the security code (the default is 12345 unless you have changed
it) enter the code and click on Ok. The phone shall restart and when it
turns back on, type *#7780# and follow the same procedure again. After
this your phone would be restored to the factory settings which is same
as formatting it.

There may b two reasons that the particular point to which battery attaches has gone bad so ur cell is not getting proper current,, so change it pliz..either u need to flash the software of ur handset.
