Cmt HS-5600 scooter why does a wrench light indicator on joystick panel flashes 7 times when you move joystick in any direction?

When you turn the chair on and move the joystick the wrench light will flash you need to count the number of times it flashes to determine whats wrong ie 4 flashes pause 4 flashes pause. If its 4 flashes then you have a motor problem see my tips on flash codes to determine the problem. Whatever the problem is you will have to have the chair fixed by a tech or the provider that sold you your chair Hope this helps

Many times a brake lever reset can resolve this issue that is preventing the PWC from operating.

MPV5 - The brake levers are located on the front of the Power Wheel Chair just above the footplate. To reset the brakes on the MPV5 Power Wheel Chair make sure both levers are pushed to the down position then pull one lever at a time to the full up position.

TEK FWD and TEK XHD - The brake levers are located on the front of the Power Wheel Chair under the label that reads "Drive" and "Push". To reset the brakes on the TEK FWD or XHD Power Wheel Chair make sure both levers are pushed to the down position then pull one lever at a time to the full up position.

If the lights on the controller continue to flash make sure the controller is not locked.

Pride Motor Chair 2008 Vr2 Controller Speed adjustment lights go to fast setting but chair barely crawls along!

Great question! The slow flash is indicative of a speed reduced mode on models designed for a seat lift option. If the controller detects that the seat is elevated then the speed is reduced - regardless of what you try to do at the joystick.
First - try lowering the seat to its lowest position.
If this doesnt work then look for a bad or disconnected sensor switch on the seat post. There are two leads at a 2-pin plug that are not making a connection when the seat is lowered - causing the controller to sense the chair is not safe to drive fast.

Battery level indicator continually flashes when turned on, chair does not move.

Not much info to go on, but you may be in Lock Mode. On a VSI the Profile LEDs scroll left to right. To Unlock a VSI: Push joystick forward until beep, then pull joystick back until beep. Unit is now unlocked.

When I turn on controller power the speed lights flash slowly. Joystick does nothing and chair is dead. Chair is Pride Jet 3 Ultra.

Do all of the speed lights flash at the same time or do they ripple from left to right? If they ripple from left to right the chair is in lock mode and you can use the unlock procedures from my tips to unlock. If they are all flashing at the same time you have an internal joystick problem and the joystick needs to be replaced Hope this helps

Lights on joy stick controller blink on and off and chair wont move

Cezna Are the lights that are blimking the battery level lights or they the speed level lights. If it is the speed level lights then the chair thinks you still have the charger plugged in. If it is the battery level lights do a certain number of lights flash 3 lights flashing 4 lights flashes etc this is the flash code and will tell you what problem you have. It could also mean that you are in lockout or sleep mode If you have the VSI joystick then turn on the power immediately push the joystick forward and hold until you hear a beep then mmediately push it to the rear til you hear a beep then immediately let it return to the center position. If it was in sleep mode this should wake it up. Hope this helps you

Wheel chair won't move. Batteries have been charging for several hours and have some charge but chair will not move.Any suggestions? Thanks

Romp, Did you check the freewheel levers chair will not move if you are in freewheel. Levers are in front next to seat posts and need to be facing forward. If you are not in freewheel then check the number of lights you have on on the joystick and that they aren't flashing. Also check that your speed control is not on the lowest setting even with some charge a slow speed setting will not let the chair move. Now by some charge you mean lights in the green on the joystick? If the lights aren't flashing then I'm kinda unsure other than even with some charge the batteries don't have enuf current to drive the motors and need to be replaced Hoe this helps

When switched on power light flashes.

How many flashes? Count number of flashes should be a slight pause then flashes the same number of times . Your manual will give you flash codes and you can determine what the problem is. If all the lights are flashing and there is no pause the chair could be in "lockout" Your manual should tell you how to get the chair out of lockout I think that Pride uses the joystick to get it out of this mode.. Turn the chair on move the joystick forward till you hear a beep then move the joystick to the rear until you hear another beep release the joystick and the lights should quit flashing Hope this helps

I have a quantum 600 power chair. when I move the joystick in any direction the chair goes into drive like normal but doesn't want to move and moves very slowly even after i change the speed setting.

Sounds like you need new batteries. Assuming that the chair is programmed for a faster speed and has gone faster in the past the most likely culprit is old or discharged batteries. The charger or plug may be at fault also. Also check that the charger is plugged in and the indicator lights of the charger are on.
