Hi, Reinsert memory card in camera and try to format it. If that does not help then check with new memory card as old memory card could be defective. Thanks.

Sounds like you forgot to use the "safely remove hardware" when you removed the card from the computer. Also, never format a card in a computer and then expect it to work in a camera. You can try to format it a few more times in the camera but if not successful, then you should think about getting an new card.
Error 002 says memory card is full. Try to delete the card or reformat the card and observe if camera wont allow to format the card. Try plugging it to a computer or laptop that hs Memory card slot and can read SD/MMC cards and format the card from the laptop
take out the memory card and put it in a card reader And reformat the card from comand promt that should fix it.
TYPE ON RUN CMD an black screen type:
FORMAT /F C:
THE C: IS THE LETER OF YOUR HARD DISK BUT INSTEAD OF C: PUT THE LETER OF YOUR CARD COULD BE E: F: AND SO ON.IF THAT DOES NOT FIX IT TRY ON THE COPMUTER MANAGEMENT, I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM AND IS OK NOW .
A card access error may indicate that an xD-Picture Card memory card is in a write-protected condition. xD-Picture Card memory cards have a special protection feature to ensure that your pictures are kept safe.
NOTE:
During this condition, you can still use the printer for printing and saving photos from the xD-Picture Card to a secure location, such as the computer hard drive.
To resolve this error, try the following:
Reinsert the xD-Picture Card memory card into your camera and turn on the camera. In most cases, the camera automatically makes the necessary changes.
Reformat the xD-Picture Card memory card. See the documentation that came with your camera for instructions on reformatting the memory card. Note that this process erases the pictures currently saved to your memory card. To save these pictures, transfer them to the computer before reformatting the memory card. Once you reformat the memory card, transfer those photos back to the memory card using the computer.
Do not ever format a card.,any card via a computer
That does it in. For camera use it will not be recognised.
Put the card in the card reader and if there is anything at all on it delete it.
Try to reformat in the camera again- failing that -new card.
try another laptop (friend's)..I suspect yours has a NTFS hard drive format while the card has a FAT type format. You can see which type by starting defrag and reading screen.
The problem seems to be that the card has been formatted incorrectly (probably by your computer, if you used it in a card reader?). Unfortunately the camera can't reformat it itself, and default computer formatting is incompatible. You'll want to download the program Lowlevelformat.exe from this website--http://olypan.quotaless.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8, install it, reformat your memory card with it, and the camera will be happy with it again.
