I'm not sure about the liability issue but I have some used Challenger breakers. Let me know if they could be of any use. Good luck!

I discovered Whirlpool hot water heater was displaying E02 error code. Followed directions in manual to possibly correct problem, but E02 code continued to be displayed. What is the remedy for this?

Error E02 indicates that the water temperature exceeded high limit.

Switch off the house circuit breakers dedicated to the water heater and then press the reset button located behind the control panel on the water heater.

Switch house circuit breakers back on.

If error persists, call a service engineer.

good luck

IS IT POSSIBLE TO REPLACE THE BURNER CHAMBER FLOOR AND WITH WHAT MATERIAL WORCESTER DANSMOOR 15/19 OIL BOILER

IF the bottom of the burner chamber is weak from the heat, it would be best to replace the entire unit. There is no one qualified to perform that repair due to liability reasons.

Hatco booster blowing breakers

Copy following link:
http://waterheatertimer.org/Water-heater-is-blowing-breaker.html

Hatco booster heater typically has 2 sets of thermostats and elements located on each end of heater.
Both sides might be controlled by same 60 amp breaker, or the heater might be controlled by two separate 30 amp breakers.
Be sure you have correct wire and breaker.

After reading steps on link above, add comment and say if this is new installation, or older installation that suddenly started throwing breaker.

Gas outdoor mounted AQ250 won't stay lit. Unit is about 2 years old and has been working great.

Before calling service technician, open following link for Bosch troubleshooting resources.
http://waterheatertimer.org/Troubleshoot-Bosch-Tankless-water-heater.html

Sample manual has troubleshoot section and yearly maintenance requirement.
http://waterheatertimer.org/pdf/Bosch-250SXO.pdf

Service bulletins for 250SXO

Tankless require yearly maintenance as outlined in manual.
No tankless manufacturer suggests do-it-yourself repairs on their product, in part for liability and danger to customers, but for long-term customer satisfaction.
Repairs and yearly maintenance will eliminate the $1-8 monthly energy savings expected from owning tankless.

I have a reliance electric hotwater tank and the lower left side of the thermostat is totally melted, what is the cause of this?

An internal short in the wiring of the thermostat. It is not as common an occurrence as it use to be, but it still happens.
I would check your breaker panel and make sure the water heater's breakers are the correct size for your unit.

My heater stoped heating water. the light is out that shows temp.my husband is in Military and i am alone. I checked circut breaker but I don't know if or where there is a circuit breaker at the box or a...

I had the same problem with the Stiebel Eltron Tempura 24. Right side unit worked (with blinking LED), but the display and left side (including LED) did not work.

This is CRITICAL. Do not take the cover off unless you have turned off circuit breakers at the circuit breaker panel AND tested that there is no power. There is a lot of voltage/ampreage here and it could be life threatening if you get shocked. Call an electrician (or a plumber) if you don't know what you are doing.

My problem was solved by resetting the safety thermal cutout switch on top of the non working unit (red single press thermistor). See this manual http://www.stiebel-eltron-usa.com/pdf/install_tempra.pdf page 8.
