Glad to hear it cleared up for you. Remember that random flashing is normal. It sounds like something in your garage or nearby was interfering with the radio signal. If you have added anything electrical you might want to keep an eye on it. Even things as weird as a fish tank heater can cause problems.

My wife and I have the same type remote. Hers works well and mine has for the past six months decided to work when it wants, no matter how many times or however long you hold the button down it fails to...

1. Change the battery in your remote 2. Are you using you remote in the same way as your wifes, ie on the cars sun visor, try putting both remotes in the same location and activate the garage door with both remotes several times if yours fails your remote has an intermittent fault.

CRFATSMAN opener - Problem when closing only

It sounds like you have a loose connection. Pull the logic board and check for bad connections especially around the small transformer.

Blinking on learning indicator...push the remote or wall button nothing works...what happen?

If that LED is blinking a code let me know what it is. For instance 5 blinks and a pause then repeats. If it is just blinking randomly that is normal.

Craftsman Garage Opener Clicks only and LED blinking 5 times

Just fixed this problem tonight. Had the 5 blink/flash thing. Opened it up and saw that the motor wasn't spinning so it wasn't a bad rpm sensor. Jumped the red to black and then the blue to black to verify motor worked. At that point assumed it was the logic board not telling the motor to start, but I could hear the click of the relay. Pulled the logic board out and noticed a solder joint that had failed directly behind one of the relays. Resoldered that joint and the garage door opener worked again like a dream. Hope that helps someone else.

Remote does not open garage door

It sounds like the wall button has the lock feature engauged.

Is there a small green LED flashing inside the wall button?
Push and hold the lock button for about two seconds and the LED should stop flashing. This will unlock the garage door opener and your remotes should start working. You may have to reprogram your remotes and homelink again since you triedprograming in the lock mode.

Good luck.

Door opens on it own and light blinks

  • Stuck remote control button. Check all remotes. check LED on receiver.
  • Staples around Multi-Function Control Panel bell wire could be cutting into that wire. Remove wires from opener and test. Replace staples causing intermittent short.
  • Multi-Function Control Panel could have sticking door control push bar. Remove wires from control panel and test. Replace control panel if defective.

TV was working earlier, today came home no green power light no nothing

I looked up the manual online - after you replace the bulb, you need to reset the bulb life timer. Using the TV remote push the menu button, SETUP menu, select the lamp reminder option to reset the hours to zero. That might help the status indicators.
