I can't code my comcast remote to my sylvania lcd tv.(LC370SS9) I've tried all the 5 digit codes comcast had to offer. I think. Please help. JimmyO922. Please tell me it can be done.

I have the same issue. I've tried every version of Comcast box there is available. Nothing. Next I'm trying taping off the Sylvania IR and running the volume through an old receiver I have. That is, of course, that there isn't a solution posted here first. Will report back later.

I had the same problem. I have the 40 inch Proscan and they supplied a remote control guide for comcast. It was only 4 digits and it did not work. I called Comcast and they did not know. I found it needed 5 digits so I added a 1 and it worked The code is 10178. Hope it works for you.

you have to turn off the power save setting

10030 or 10054

1. Turn on your device (i.e. TV).
2. PRESS the button for the device you want to program (TV, VCR, CABLE, AUD, etc.) then RELEASE.
3. PRESS and HOLD the SETUP button until the red LED for the selected device flashes twice, then RELEASE.
4. ENTER the 5 digit code for your brand from the list above.
5. You should receive 2 quick flashes on the LED for the selected device after entering your code.
6. PRESS the POWER button to test the code. (On VCR,LD,and CD players use PLAY)

Why to ******* yourself with codes, installing etc. I order this Movie Software before a month, and I can tell it is awesome.

I purchased a sylvanis lcd tv and it won't work with my comcast cable remote...I can't turn it on or off with it or turn up or down the volume. i've called my cable company 3 times and they can't seem to help me. Can you help?
