I used to have problems that even when I tried to reset it using the above methods it still would not respond - when that would happen I would just plug it back into my computer. For some reason when iTunes appeared and tried to sync my iPod, iTunes overrided whatever was locking it up.

Help ineed account for my Ipod please help

Step 1:
an itunes account ?
b> An iPod is a portable media player that lets users listen to music wherever they are. Before you can listen to songs on the iPod, you must first put music onto the device. If you have been using different MP3 players in the past, adding music to an iPod can be slightly confusing. The reason for this is that iPods are not compatible with Windows Media Player, Real Player or Winamp. By using iTunes, however, you can add music to any iPod.

• Open iTunes. • 2 Add music to iTunes. To do this, click "File." Choose "Add Folder to Library." Then, find the folder on your computer that holds the music you wish to put onto the iPod. Highlight that folder and click "OK." The music will be put into the iTunes Library. • • 3 Plug the iPod into the computer. After a few seconds, you will see the iPod listed under "Devices" on the left-hand side of iTunes. • 4 Click "Music" under the "Library" option on the left-hand side of iTunes. All of the music files in the iTunes Library will then be shown in the middle of iTunes. • 5 Double-click the album that contains the music you want to put onto the iPod. The songs on that album will then be listed. • 6 Highlight the song you want to add to the iPod. • 7 Drag that file over to the name of your iPod located under "Devices" (as mentioned in Step 3). The song will then be placed onto the iPod. Do this for all of the music you want to put onto the iPod. • 8 Click the "All Albums" button at the top of iTunes to get back to the list of albums on the iTunes Library. • 9 Repeat Steps 5-7 until you are done putting music on the iPod. • 10 Disconnect the player when you are done.

6th gen. nano has shuffle issues. plays same song over and over

The iPod's shuffle feature lets you randomize playback of albums, songs or even your entire music library. You may also find this feature useful if you want to listen to forgotten tracks in your library or discover songs you haven't listened to yet. Disabling the shuffle feature will return playback of a song list to its standard consecutive order. You can enable and disable the shuffle feature at any time.

Navigate to the main menu. Select "Settings." Scroll to the "Shuffle" option. Select "Songs" or "Albums." If you select "Songs," the iPod Classic will shuffle the songs on whatever song list you listen to. If you select "Albums," the iPod Classic will play all songs of an album you select in order and then randomly select another album. Navigate to the playlist or album to which you want to listen. Play a song to initiate the shuffle. b> iPod Nano and iPod Touch Tap the "Songs" icon on your nano home screen. If you are using an iPod Touch, open the "iPod" application. Navigate to the song list, playlist or album you want to play. Tap the "Shuffle" icon at the top of the list to activate the feature.

My ipod froze and has a green bar over song.

You just need to reset it, hold down the middle button and the "Menu" button for about 7-10 seconds, or until you see the Apple logo.
Hope this helps!

The ipod won't turn on or do anything?

This happened to me to. I was listening to it when I arrived at my destination, and I thought I turned it off and I put it in my pocket. Later that day when I went to listen to it, it wouldn't turn on at all. Aparently, it had stayed on. Hold the pause button for five to ten seconds. The apple symbol will appear on your ipod. Immeadility put it in your docking station before it goes away. Your ipod will turn on, and itwill start charging.

I hope this helps. Please rate my solution.
