SOURCE: Logitech s510 keyboard

I had this problem for a very long time as well. Turns out this is an encryption issue. It's off-balance. You need to reset the encryption, and here's how:

On the LEFT side of your wireless keyboard press and hold Ctrl+Alt, and press F12, then release all three buttons. Now push the Connect button on your Wireless Receiver, then the connect button on your wireless keyboard. Now press Esc. Try it. See if it works. It did for me.

SOURCE: Logitech S510 mouse will not turn on

I am assuming since you need batteries that the mouse is cordless. If so you normaly have to sync the mouse with the receiver. If the keyborad and mouse came as a package it will only have one receiver. There should be corresponding sync buttons for these devices.

SOURCE: EX-110 Logitech cordless optical mouse: does not work

There should be a battery compartment on the bottom of the mouse. Replace batteries and make sure you setpoint software from logitech is installed. Hope this helps.

I need to replace the batteries to a cordless logitech mouse, where are the buttons located on the wireless keyboard to sync everything back up? And how long do I hold buttons for?

I used to use a set of these
the button on the key board should just be on the bottom, if you dont see it it might actually be in the battery compartment. but im pretty sure its just on the bottom it might even be red.
to sync it, have the receiver plugged into the computer and the computer on. push the button on the receiver until the little green light flashes on the receiver then press the button on the keyboard, the light should stop flashing and the keyboard should by synced, do the same with the mouse.

Logitech mouse is'nt working

You might try re-syncing the mouse with the wireless sender. Push the button on the sender (plugged into usb port usually) and then push the button on the bottom of the mouse.

How do I connect my wireless mouse and keyboard?

If it came with the install disc you will need to use it, also, (newer computers will detect the software automatically) you must sync your key board with the mouse.
#1 press the connect button on receiver
#2 Press the connect button on the mouse
#3 Press the connect button (again) on the receiver
#4 Press the connect button on the keyboard...

DONE

Mouse does not move cursor. Has new batteries.

Hello
There is a small reset button on the bottom of the mouse push and hold it in for a couple seconds.

You would need to download and install software and drivers for mouse from the manufacturer to get a battery saving option.

Can't change battery in optical mouse hub

no. But you may have to press the button on the bottom of the mouse and on the receiver at the same time. To re-sync them.
They are matched by syncing the code from the button, so you don't move neighbors cursor around :-) .

Cheers

Mouse pointer frozen

I would try re-syncing the mouse. If it doesn't work right away, try a reboot and then syncing the mouse. There is a little button on the bottom of the mouse that will allow you to do this.

If you need me to go further in depth i certainly will - just let me know but I would say that it's probably your problem.

Let me know if this works or not so i can try to find the correct solution if this doesn't to it for you. I'm here to help!!

Good luck!
