Hi there,
Well you can please follow the below steps - 1. Locate the "Energy Saver/Dry" button on the dishwasher. The location of this button will be different depending upon the specific model number of the dishwasher, but should be easy to spot. If you have trouble finding it, you can check the diagram in the manual of your dishwasher for the exact location for your specific model. 2. Press and hold down this "Energy Saver/Dry" button for at least four seconds. Make sure that you do not release the button until at least 4 seconds have passed, otherwise the lock will not become disabled. 3. Check to make sure that the child lock indicator light has turned off. If this light is no longer on, this means you were successful at turning off the child lock. If the light is still on, repeat the process, but try to press and hold the "Energy Saver/Dry" button for a few seconds longer. If it still doesn't work, there may be a more complicated issue with your dishwasher. Consult your manual, or call to the manufacturer or repair man to determine if there is another problem with your dishwasher.

There are several touch pad buttons that could activate the Child Lock feature on a Kitchenaid dishwasher. To toggle off the lock, try pressing and holding the 4-hour delay dry or the energy saver dry key pads for 4+ seconds. The Energy Saver Dry is used for the Child Lock on the Kitchenaid KUDS25SHWH1. This manual is here: https://c.searspartsdirect.com/mmh/lis_pdf/OWNM/L9050329.pdf . The 4-hour delay or Control Lock options are listed in this manual: https://www.kitchenaid.com/content/dam/global/documents/201605/owners-manual-W10596243-RevD.pdf . If neither of these steps work, you may have a problem with the keypad, the wiring between the keypad and the control board or the control board itself.
Please add a comment with the model of the dishwasher if you'd like me to try and find the parts list/diagram. If the machine is under warranty, you may want to contact Kitchenaid.
Child Lock is activated. Look for a picture of a small child's face on the Facial Panel (usually with picture of a lock) follow the arrows to 2 buttons, press and hold these buttons for 5 - 7 seconds. Child Lock will then deactivate.
Hope this helps

Most of the dishwasher in this series have an energy saver dry button. Hold this button in for four seconds and it should unlock the child safety lock. Does not work, try again for 30 seconds. Does not work. We have problem. If your model does not have an energy safer button, then type in the model number and you should be able to find the manual online and open the same to find out how to unlock the child safety lock. If all fails then you need an Electronic control board assembly, about $86 for your model, plus shipping from repair clinic.com. If you are at all handy, this is easy repair. Make sure you turn off the breaker or remove the fuse before you attempt any repairs.
Try holding the E.S. button down for 30 seconds. Does not work, you need an Electronic control assembly which can be ordered online from Repair clinic .com for $146 for your model plus shipping. This is apparently a common problem with Kitchenaid dishwashers. Just repaired one the other day. Tried everything, but as soon as the new Electronic control assembly was installed, everything was Okay. This is an easy repair for anyone who is handy at all. Please shut off power to the dishwasher by switching the breaker off or removing the fuse.
I took the opportunity of your post to upload a technical service manual for you. The "child lock" feature is only for the control functions (the buttons) and has nothing to do with the door actually locking. Here is the link to the tech manual. I hope you find it useful.
