SOURCE: Ascaso, Innova, Dream Heater not working

If you are confident that your heating element is dead and are filling adventurous enough to replace it- you can get one at:

I saved myself shipping and repair costs by having it replaced by a friend. He took pictures and marked wires & connectors before removing the broken heater.
Yeah,, this looks to be systematic failure with this machine. Very disappointing- for this kind of money, one would expect the machine to work a bit longer after warranty expires.

SOURCE: Acaso Dream espresso machine no crema

Are you getting enough atmospheric bars of pressure? Should be around 9 or so. if not that may be your problem... also if your portafilter is pressurized (there will be a plastic disc under the screen) try removing it and see if you are getting crema then... Helped alot with mine. I also shaved the bottom to make it bottomless but that may be alot further than you want to go.

SOURCE: My ascaso epresso machine does not heat water, I

We do not advise you attempt to install a new heating element in this machine. It is extremely meticulous work involving many small parts, you will need metric tools, meters, etc, it requires removing the old boiler, disassemble it, purchasing a new one with the correct gaskets and moving over all the sensors to the new boiler. We do this repair and even for us it is somewhat hairy.

I purchased an Ascaso Dream espresso machine on ebay without reading the fine print that it was not working by not heating up. Is it merely the heating unit/part that needs to be replaced? Also it only...

If when you switch on the machine and the water is cold then, you should replace the boiler element.
There are a number of ascaso boiler elements, depending on the year. Dream Arc Basic Ellipse Page 2
It it works and you get steam , then the boiler is fine.
It may be that wires are loose inside?
