I am trying to figure out if I want to purchase the Punch Professional Home Design Platinum program. I would like to see what the users guide says about framing before I make the investment. Can I see a copy of the users guide?

Try to Uninstall the program with Revo uninstaller and then install it Fresh. Also make certain your Graphics Card is up to date with the current drivers and that it is capable of managing that program. If a Computer is Old the BIOs may not be updated and accept the commands necessary to operate the program.

You need to purchase the software for a serial number. If you have already purchased the software, you need to contact Chief Architect's support for assistance. Stealing, yes stealing (taking something that is not yours, or violating copy right laws) is wrong and against the TOS of this site.

The installation CD may be faulty now. You may try to install using this link http://download.cnet.com/Punch-Professional-Home-Design-Platinum-Suite/3000-6677_4-10392673.html and then just activate using the product key that you have.

Try to run it as administrator, if that does not work, reinstall the program.

Email them and they will supply you with a code that you can enter to stop the countdown

Note that this only works if you have purchased the software.

Make sure users other than administrators have write access to the Punch folder...

I am not sure what Punch Plat you are using, however these are some notes and solutions that may help
1 - Crown moldings in Punch don't slope
2 - Ceiling beams --> check your Power Tools--> If your version has the Celing designer, you can use this tool to create the beams--> or use solution # 3
3 - Ceiling beams --> you can cevelop them in the 3D Workshop Power Tool --> set the pitch--> texture as necessary
4 - You will find ready to use beams in --> Obejcts--> Faux Wood beams
