Add a station

I am trying to add station 73 to the SANYO TV set and the set will not allow it.  The stations only go to 68.
Can you tell me how to do that?

If you are on outdoor antenna or rabbitt ears this cannot be done as most tunersonly go to channel 69 . If your are on cable this can be achived by going into the menu and first making sure the tv is in the cable mode . Your set should have a section for manuelly adding or deleting or channels , simply by pushing 73 with your remote then using the onscreen menu to add this channel . Or you can just autoprogram your channels over again and this should pickup your channel . If this does not work what is the model # of your set so i can lookup the manuel if it is available. Also you can try to google the model # of your set with the phase (owners manuel) to see if you can find a free download of your set .This will also have the info your looking for . Good luck

Add Variety

Click "Add Variety" under the currently playing station. Type in the name of another artist, track or composer you like and we'll add music with musical qualities to the station.

You can always remove the variety you have added by editing your stations.

Tips to improve stations

We want all our listeners to get the most from their Pandora experience as they discover and enjoy music they love. In that spirit, here's a few things we've come up with to get your stations playing great songs without relying too heavily on skipping tracks.

1. Make a fresh station: Sometimes the best thing to do is simply start over with a fresh station based on a different starting point, such as a related artist or one of your favorite Thumbed up songs. Note you can always bring a station back (with all your Seeds and Thumbs intact) by re-adding it.

2. Thumb freely: Thumb ratings tell us everything about the kinds of music you want to hear. If you have a reaction to a song, let us know! This will give us a better idea of what to play next. Keep in mind, Thumbing down a track counts as a skip.

3. Review your station: When stations are playing songs wildly out of place, or songs that aren't fitting within that station's sound, you should check your station details and edit any Thumb ratings or Seeds that may be adversely affecting the playlist.

4. Switch it up: Don't be afraid to make changes. If your station is repetitive, first try our Add Variety feature. If you get sick of a track but don't want to completely ban it, you can also put it on the shelf for a while. In some cases, it might actually help to remove Thumbs-up ratings in the station details to mix things up.

Add stations to radio

try tuning to favorite station the push and hold down one of the favorite buttons for a few seconds, you should hear a beep or see the station number flash. if that doesn't work then there should be a button that has set on it. dial station, push set, push one of the favorite buttons and it should work.

I lost reception for one station on this set the other tv is fine. I can't receive channel 10 and I did try to add this station .

If only one channel not likely a issue with the set but a direct enter with the numbers on the remote should take the set there and then in the menu you should be able to "add" it to the memory.

As a last resort place this set where other set that is working is and see what happens..............

My PVR recently froze & a technician came to our home & replaced it with a new one. Although the new one does work, I can no longer get any of the stations from 60 through 68.

Don't deal with that technician again! About the only simple thing you can try is to run the PVR Search function again. This will be accessed from the Menu button somewhere, maybe Menu - Setup - Search. This will search for all the clear stations you can get there, and set them up as shown in the TV Guide.

I have a sanyo zio, I want to also watch tv on it and need flash. It presently has 2.2.1. I don't know how to update it so I can add flash.

First off you have to have 2.3 version(android)or higher for Flash player! You need to go to your market and type in keywords for TV apps, and it will allow you to download a multitude of stations. Just in case you have Sprint you can go to Sprint-tv. I have the Sanyo Zip 2.2.1. From sprint. Besides the network its pretty much the same.

There are no problem with the TV set,we bought the set second hand and didn't receive the manual,we were wondering how we could programe the set to give only 5 stations shown on the set, not the blank...

Do you have the remote ? What model is the TV ? Usually you can use the remote to add/delete stations. There should be an add/delete button(s) on the remote.

Add a station

This set isn't capable of going over 68, this is all it's programmed for. You will need to get a channel box that overrides the tv's programming in order to add the channel 73.

Station wont register

Make sure the station is put into "Installation Mode" (Menu ----> Installation mode) when you try to add station.

If this doesn't work, you probably have a faulty station.
