I changed the black cartridge in my hp 932c and now there is a faint double image of everything in black. I switched cartridges and still have the problem.

The Deskjet 932 has a sensor that allow the printer to perform an automatic calibration whenever a cartridge is changed. It should not be necessary to ever manually force a calibration, but if you want to you can do it from the front panel as follows:

1. Turn on the printer.
2. Press and hold in the power button.
3. While holding the power button in press and release the form feed button three times quickly.
4. Release the power button.

This will print a calibration page which will be scanned automatically as part of the process. The calibration may fail if the 78 cartridge is not properly printing yellow or the 45 is not printing properly. It may also fail if the sensor is fogged with aerosol. This can be resolved by cleaning the sensor with a damp q-tip. The sensor is located in a small black plastic box located in the lower right rear of the carriage.

All of a sudden my hp 932c printer started printing funny in color. I was printing pictures and the prints came out like a heat resolution type picture. I then got new ink cartridges, it did not fix the...

quite often inkjet heads will dry up and clog. try a clean heads sequence in the printer properties panel. do this until it prints the clean nozzle page properly. If the ink cartridges have the print head attached to them (some dont) you can dab them on a paper towel with windex or vinegar until they show a nice clean line when dabbed. if you cant get the print heads out , then you just need to continue running the clean nozzel application until it prints the test nozzel job properly. This is the reason I will not buy any more inkjet printers. only Toner based machines. cheers.

Color cartridge runs out even though I'm only printing b&w typed scripts. Any way to shut it off? Only have use for color printing once in a blue moon Hewlett Packard HP DeskJet Printer #932C

Even though you print a b/w document... unless you say 'black cartridge only' in your printing preferences, all the colors get used.

Find 'black cartridge only' in your printing preferences, or 'print in greyscale' and then print your document. You must specify this for your printer to know that it must use the black only.

Hello, My HP 932C has suddenly started printing photos in pink. I have tried cleaning all the cartrdge contacts, reinstalling the software, a new cartridge. No change. Any ideas?

Your cartridge may need to be replaced. If your tri-colour cartridge has run out of yellow and cyan and only has red left this could be the cause.

On my HP 932c Deskjet (2 actually) a metal piece behind the black ink cartridge popped out when changing cartridges. I have lost the metal piece, and need to know how to replace them. Who can I buy them...

1. this piece is probably a retainer.
2. It requires that you disassemble the print head and that require you to have the service manual. This will require proper tools to remove and replace the print head. If you damage the print head it will require full service.

Hp 932 c prints from the color cartridge only

Was it working and now stopped working ?? If so, could be a faulty black cartridge. Remove the color cartridge and see if the black prints. if a new black cartridge, the strip may need to be removed or remove and reinsert black cartridge.

My printer has an almost full black cartridge but will not print.

Check the ink lines, the printer head might be clogged, If thats not fixing anything then check your printer settings on the computer and remove the color option. Changing it to black and white can somtimes just be from color, not just black.

Cartridge Change HP Deskjet 932C

You don't have to replace them as a set unless there both empty. You could try resetting the printer by unplugging it, wait 30 seconds, replug it back in, and turn the power on.
