Help! Win 98 Ethernet Driver for Dell Latitude C600 PC

The linking page that you point at is for your laptop but it's not for your operating system, it is for WinXP. In ordrer to have the correct drivers for all the devices go here, this is the right page for Win98 pperating system.

Visit the Dell Web Site.. Use the Service tag on On under side of laptop.. and All Drivers are on the Dell Support Web Site!

its really simple,u can call the dell technical support and ask them for the media kit for ur latitude and they'll provide u with a complete cd for all the drivers.

load windows xp all drivers work on it....

The windows XP drivers should work on windows 2000 due to it being the same OS but different GUI.

For the DVD player, You can try XPcodecpack.com which contains alot of the codecs for decoding audio and video.

access support.dell.com. go to drivers and downloads. then pick choose by service tag. your service tag can be located at the bottom of your laptop. put in the service tag number and you'll get other options. most likely, you'll be able to see the device driver for your ethernet controller.

I am afraid Dell did no plan Windows XP for Latitude C600 thus Dell has not made released certified drivers.

Generally, Windows XP SP2 should have most of the drivers built in. Reply if you have device(s) which lack drivers and I will get you the drivers at best effort.

Also, try Windows 2000 drivers. Normally it should work

go here , select your OS, download (make cd or use usb flash drive )to your computer. save it to desktop and doubleclick on it. reboot computer.

Try device manager and see if they are disabled. I've seen this happening a few times
