PLVW1040R I purchased monitor from a friend and it did now come with instructions or remote. So how can I get a remote and some directions to install this myself. I'm a do it yourselfer. I have 95 chevy tahoe 4 door. I am planning on mounting it where the back seat over head lights are. Is there any special way to mount to roof so that it does not shake. Also if i connect a playstion to it will i need a spliter to switch back and fourth between game and video.....

Page 61 of the manual shows how to bypass the pin if the pin number is forgotten with the remote, however you need the factory remote as a universal won't work. If you knew the pin number a universal remote would work to enter the numbers, but i'm guessing that you don't know the pin number in this case and there is no other way to reset it without having the original remote. These monitors were made for commercial use and have a pin lock to protect the settings in from being tampered with in a commercial installation.
