I have a Burns Sonic 1962. It has a complex "quirky" parallel/series wiring circuit with 3 pots, 2 switches and 2 Burns Tri-Sonic pickups. wiring of a burns sonic guitar 1961 - 2b4fdbd.jpg

How do I rewire the pots on my LTD AX-141 4 String bass guitar. Someone has messed up the wiring thank you

There are two sites I go to for most of my guitar/amp needs. Youtube and the second is StewMac.com and look in the Trade Secrets and How to section. It may not be the exact guitar/bass but it's a real good jumping off point.
I just opened a youtube site and searched "how to rewire a bass guitar" and received 8690 how-to videos.
Good luck on this project.

Wiring burns bass vista sonic

Could you please be more specific? I'm not sure if you're looking for a wiring diagram (if so, I have one posted below), or if you're having a problem with grounding or other wiring issues.

The above link is a wiring diagram for bass guitars that closely match the one you are asking about.

Hope that helps!

How DO I rewire my SX guitar?

Well that depends. What do you want it to do after you rewire it? Are you wanting to install new pickups or add any features? One of the best sources I have found for wiring diagrams is Seymour Duncan. They not only have listings for how to wire their pickups, but also many of the common wiring diagrams for many guitars. Please only do this if you feel comfortable with soldering. Otherwaise, take it to a local luthier.
