Power button on emachine t3882 have come loose

click on the link that say's audio.
it will download the audio drivers for you
double click on it and run the setup to install the audio drivers.
you may need to restart the computer before you can hear sound.

be specific, what do you mean by just stop. The power shut off, or it frooze, or the mouse froozen. But try to do this first. Try to remove or unplug the power chords from the power supply of your PC. Leave it in 5min. off. Put it back and try to turn it on. ok. Look very closely at the motherboard where the wires go... maybe with a magnifying glass . should say what wires go where. ie. (hdd led,reset, pwr. etc) if you reverse the wires.. just switch them back. its just for indicators.. also u could google the mainboard model number or search acer site for led pinout on mainboard.

All of the driver packages and manuals are here. Connecting the front panel LEDs and switches starts on the lower part of page 174 of the "NG3 Hardware Reference" PDF (download under "User Guides").

The pictures are black and white, and not as detailed as they should be, but you should be able to find the right connectors from them.

By the specs your machine doesn't support AGP so you'll have to go with a PCI card with S-Video out. This link will give you a list of ATI Radeon cards available on ebay to accomplish this task.

NOTE: That list will also bring up a list of PCI-E cards, your machine requires PCI, make sure you select the correct model.

there could be possible problems with ur smps... dat wil make it reboot frequently ,cos of low power supply to the board... anyway, first try to reinstall the os...

The yellow wire carry 12 volt while the red one is 5 volt. But to check the voltage you have to unplugged all the four wires connectors (yelow, black, black red) and measure them one by one. If you say that they don't have any voltage on them then you have a faulty power supply. Replace it to solve the problem.
But if during unplugged your have the correct voltage read then it could be one of your device faulty. Normally your CD-ROM drive or floppy drive or HDD.
