This error message means that the card is corrupted or formatted for another digital camera. Turn off the camera. Insert a new card or format the card.
Try to format the memmory card using a card reader and the PC this should solve your problem if not you have to replace the memmory card.
What's the capacity of the memory card which you are trying to format?
The largest capacity which your phone is capable of using is a 4GB micro SD. It will not work at all with larger capacity cards which are all of the newer SDHC standard and there is room for confusion as both 4GB micro SD and micro SDHC cards are widely available.
Incompatibility with SDHC is a hardware issue: there is no way to upgrade phones which are incompatible with the later specification.

Hi , I just had the same problem with my son's webslider and found this solution. Go to Settings-Memory Status(which is way down the bottom out of view, just keep scrolling down)-External Memory. Once selected you should see how much memory is available. Down in the lefthand corner is 'Format' select this and it will prepare your micro SD card for use in the phone.Make sure you turn the phone off after formatting and restart it, just as you would when installing new software on a computer. Cheers!
I had a similar problem, I would plug it in and the screen would sometimes flicker on the KS360 logo but would otherwise remain dead. I removed the Micro SD card I put in it and now it seems to be working fine. If you've got one in there, try removing it, might help.
