Are there Lexmark x75 drivers available for

the driver is still available for free download on the support site ..but the issue with this printer is that it do not have any drivers for windows vista and windows 7 ..The only available drivers and software on the site are for windows xp and older ..So ..if you want to use it you will need to attach it to a widows xp computer ...I know for sure cause I encountered this issue before and looked for drivers a long time without solution ..
You may try to run the driver in compatibility with windows xp in vista or 7 ..but this will require to change its properties and will have no warranties will work ....

On these page are a link to Windows 7 Information; if you open you will find that Lexmark does not support your printer for Windows 7.

There are no Windows drivers available for the X75; however drivers for Windows, 2000, 98, Me and XP (32-bit) are available for the X74 and these will probably work for the X75.

If your operating system is one of the above check under the tab labelled Downloads; select your operating system to download your driver and save in a known location.

When you connect your printer Windows will try to install but you should be prepared to point to the driver location. If the printer doen not autoinstall you will have to add your printer manually through the Printer section of your Control Panel.

I have checked with Microsoft Windows 7 Compatibility & Lexmark websites & they both said that the driver is not compatible with Windows 7. I dont know if Lexmark will release a driver for windows7.

Neither can I.

I accessed the manufacturer's web-site: http://support.lexmark.com
and entered 'X75', and clicked 'downloads',
and found drivers for Mac OS and for Windows 98/2000/XP, but none _explicitly_ for Windows XP 64-bit.

So, either Windows XP 64-bit "natively" supports the printer, or Lexmark does *NOT* support this "legacy" printer in newer Operating Systems (64-bit, Vista, Windows 7).

If your printer is not listed on Lexmark's web-site:

then either:

* the device-driver is included in Windows 7;
* Lexmark does not supply a device-driver for Windows 7.

It would be better if you install the software/driver first in your computer. The software also shows you the instructions on how to setup the printer itself. Here are the drivers available for download in the Lexmark website. Just click on the driver compatible with your computer's operating system.
- Lexmark X75 AIO Printer driver for Mac OS X, Mac OS X 10.1, Mac OS X 10.1.5, Mac OS X 10.2, Mac OS X 10.2.1, Mac OS X 10.2.8, Mac OS X 10.3.x, and Mac OS X 10.4.x.
- Custom Driver for Microsoft Windows 2000
- Driver for Microsoft Windows XP
These are the only available drivers. That means the printer is not compatible with Mac 10.5, Mac 10.6, Windows Vista and Windows 7.

Unfortunately, the printer is not compatible with Windows Vista and Windows 7. There are no printer drivers compatible with these operating systems. For Windows operating system, the printer is only compatible with Windows 98, XP, ME and 2000. Hope I can assist you more on this.

Sorry , no driver available. Actually your printer didn't had a driver even for Vista so the chances of getting one for 7 are zero.
