Press the self-clean button. The panel becomes blank(---), then press
the up arrow( ^ ). The panel will appear 3:00 (indication for the
duration of self-cleaning). The oven will lock on its own and start the
self-cleaning.
This code means the control has detected a problem with the door latch
switch. Switch is defective and needs replaced. Part # is W10107820 and
cost is $39.99. You can get it at http://www3.sears.com/.
Before calling a repair shop,go to the circuit breaker box and
turn off the power to the oven. then turn it back on and then see if the door is released and the error is cleared.
its probaly bent door latch or door sensor gone bad. try pushing on the door when you start the clean cycle see if that helps.
if not our suggestion would be to replace the part....
good luck...
if you got insight into your problem from us , A very helpful rating is appreciated for answering your question

Hi,
Cycling the power off and then on again will sometimes reset it...often you will have to call the customer service number to get the steps to take to unlock that...

Assuming the door is still locked after cooling, then either the door switch is bad or the wiring from the control panel to the door switch has a problem. First disconnect the power from the oven. Then check the wiring and connectors (from the control to the switch and back). If those are fine, you need to replace the door switch. After replacing the switch or fixing any bad wiring/connections, reconnect the oven to power. Press and hold any key on the panel for at least one minute to clear the error. You should see F2 on the LCD panel. Press Cancel to clear the error then check to see if any new error (or the old one) message occurs. (Usually a new error message will come up within a minute.)
Which model Whirlpool oven do you have? If you add a comment with the model number, I may be able to provide a parts list and diagram of the unit.
I hope this helps.
