Question about RIM BlackBerry Bold 9700 Smartphone

Reload software 513 on blackberry bold 9700

I got my new blackberry bold 9700.. i was using it already.. after installing the blackberry destktop manager to my computer, I connected the usb to the computer and to the BB9700.. I was asked to enter my device password. (I know my password, so I entered it) I entered my password but it says that Im entering an incorrect password. Until I entered my password 4times already, then my phone appeared on a white screen already, saying "WIPING".. after a couple of minutes, it turned out saying "RELOAD SOFTWARE: 513".. How am I goin to fix this? Help me please :(

all you need to do is sync your blackberry with your blackberry desktop manager and run the application loader. you will lose all data on the phone because you will be re-installing the software

You need to reinstall Blackberry Software on your phone.. you need Blackberry Desktop manger to do that.
Download Blackberry desktop manager (if you dont have it already) from this link: http://us.blackberry.com/apps-software/desktop/

First, backup your data from Blackberry desktop manager.
And download software for you phone from this link: http://us.blackberry.com/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp
Software is different for every service provider so make sure you download correct one...
Once download, install the software on your computer. Connect your blackberry with computer.. open blackberry desktop manger, device under software updates, you will see an update (which we just downloaded) follow it and done.

Menu button not working in blackberry bold 9700


Try to upload the software. Connect it to your blackberry desktop manager and try to check for new updates. After in which, try to press the menu button if this is already working.

You need to reset the Counter MEP 1...

This is the solution for anyone have mep code 0 left in his handset that no attemt balance for enter code.

1. Please install black berry desktop manager. (its free download from black berry website)
2. Connect handset with pc.
3. Open this software its shows booting rom and ask u phone unlock code(note: its not asking mep code just user code).if not phone code inserted then it update rom automatically.
4. Now your handset reboot, then you got mep code(10 left) in network lock section.

JUM Error 517


Hi,

The actual error is JVM Error 517. It means the file system on your blackberry is corrupt.

To correct this, follow the steps outlined below:
1. If not already installed, download BlackBerry Device Software and BlackBerry Desktop Manager from the wireless service provider web site.
2. Install BlackBerry Desktop Manager and then install the BlackBerry Device Software.
3. Use Application Loader to reload the software on the BlackBerry device.

My Bold 2 9700 smartphone is showing blank screen with the message reload software 513. Also, the phone is not connecting to the desktop manager eith using the USB cable or through the Bluetooth.


Force a reset by loading version 5 desktop software on your laptop first and then connecting the BlackBerry to it. It may take some time for your pc to recognise that the BlackBerry is plugged in, so be patient!
When it connects, reload the firmware.

Blacberry 9700 plug in with usb plug found new hardware but it won't install correctly


pull the battery out of the phone and put it back in after 5 seconds. Restart the computer and then open blackberry desktop manager. When everything is back and on plug your phone into a different usb port.

My bold 9700 wont load pass the blackberry screen


Plug the phone into the computer after you have opened Blackberry Desktop Manager and one the phone is connected and it registers a pin on the bottom of the Desktop Manager software select application loader then choose update software.
