Canon i250 printer problems

Does anybody know about Canon printer problems and error codes?
I have a Canon i250 printer and has flashing yellow light, and 7 beeps.

    My problem is with my Canon !550 ink jet printer. All of a sudden, when I turned it on, it flashes orange/yellow with an intermittent slow flash of green. It won't print and no error message appears on my computer. Help menu on software doesn't list this problem.
    Thanks for any and all help.

1. Disconnect printer from AC power (take out AC cord or power off your power strip). Disconnect USB PC cable from printer.
2. Press and HOLD the POWER button (untill step 7).
3. Reconnect power cord (turn on power) to the printer.
4. The indicator should be green.
5. Press and release the RESUME button , the indicator should be orange.
6. Press and release the RESUME button again, the indicator should be green.
7. NOW Release POWER buttons.
8. NOW Connect the printer to PC (USB cable).
9. NOW...I opened "Printers" and saw that a "copy" of my printer (i250 or i350) had been made. Make that COPY your default printer and all should work...

    i did all those steps , but when i try to print with that copy , it says ( printer is offline ) and when i try the normal copy it says printer is online but it prints empty paper :\

I have a canon i250 which does not print.The orange light flashed 5 times and then goes back to green. Thanks for your help.
The orange light flashes 5 times indicates that the printhead is not there. Obviously it is (I hope). Turn the power off and remove and refit the head. If it still does not work then the head is most probably faulty and requires replacing.

My Canon i250 printer suddenly began to print blue not yellow on a yelow hightlighted document. I have installed a fresh colour cartridge but the probelm remains. Please can you help.

Canon i250, black text won't print, but ok with nozzle check
Canon i250. Instructions on this website solved the problem of flashing green and orange lights, but now the black won't print. Changed ink cartridges, but still no print. Did a diagnostic nozzle check, and the black DID print. What do I do now?

CANON I350 DOES NOT PRINT
Green and yellow is a service error, but it flashes a longer green, and then the green yellow flashes, and a longer green again. You need to count the number of yellow-greens in between the longer green flashes, to know the error code.

Canon i250 error 5100
5100 error code means the carriage is not moving from right to left properly. Look for any foreign oblects or paper left inside machine, make sure the encoder strip behind the carriage assembly doesn't have grease spots.

Printer won't print
I know that the paper lever is where your paper is loaded. Check the grey plastic tab and try to drag it to the right or left. Depending on your paper size you might have to check the owners manual.

Canon i250 flashing orange / green light
turn the printer off by the socket. hold down the on button and keep held down whilst turning on the socket switch. Then press the button next to the on (i don't know what it is called) , so it goes onto orange then again to get to green. now it should stay on green and print. i hope this i useful
