Throw it away. I spent hours on the thing before I found out about the firmware upgrade, and hours more after that. The upgrade apparently toasted it beause I disconnected after it ran for 15 minutes in "initializing" without any apparent change.
I will never buy anything with CURTIS on it for the rest of my life.
I think you are going to have to connect the Player up to your PC via it's USB cable and then possibly repartition and reformat.. Do you have the, any? software that came with ya player installed on ya PC? If so often all "Utilities" to do this are included.
