Touch screen out of order
you should reset your mobile phone.if any touch screen is not functioning you can reset your phone.A pin hole is given near the usb port of phone for reset it.you can enter a needle into pinhole & press it slowly.after that your phone will reset.it take some moment. after it screen appers with text "align screen".taping the target until the "align screen" disappears.after disappearing align screen set which is given on the screen.after that windows will be installing.it take some moment.i hope your problem will be solved.

Hi,the reason why the touch screen is not functioning ,is because the touch screen is dead does not work properly again.
You will need t replace the touch screen for it to function properly again.

Unreponsive touchpad
Touch pad is a thin glass layer that is available below the display screen which interacts with the mobile when we touch. Since you have not specified your mobile functionality; I think your mobile is working properly when you use the Keypad. If your mobile is not working properly using the touch alone then the touch pad in the mobile got affected. Touch pad in the mobile can be replaced easily. Please visit the nearest mobile service center and ask them to replace the touch with a new one. Nowadays touch screen are available at very low cost.

My I-mate touch Sacreen is not working
Reset your phone! and if you dont mind loosing your information run a complete reset.Then do a screen re-allignment.
To avoid a future re occurence avoid placing your phone in your tight jeans pocket so that you don't apply pressure to the screen.

I am sad that the Imate Jama is not providing much use to you. However, it will be a useful one if you are going to explore its functionalities.
Anyhow, in regard with your problem, we cannot do anything with it, the only recommendation I could tell you is to bring your PDA to a service technician to further check the hardware error of it especially the touch screen does not working properly.

you can try to upgrade the software or at least install it again.

How to Upgrade I Mate K Jam from Windows Mobile 5.0 to Windows Mobile 6.0
download Windows Mobile 6.0 from ( Imate.com ) , when you download the file connect the phone with your PC using Microsoft Activesync , then run the rom ( file that u download it ) .
then follow the instruction that will appeare to you on your PC screen AND will Appeare to you in your phone
