How to install that web cam model PK 635 M in windows 7.. coz evrytime i open my cam in yahoo messenger it say that no camera was found in the system

http://www.driverstock.com/a4tech-pk-635-driver-download/1-3-4200/index.html

I noticed that there is no Windows 7 specific driver for this older camera. This can be problematic as the older XP drivers sometimes work and sometimes do not work in Windows 7 32 bit or 64 bit.

Good luck on this compatibility issue with Yahoo Messenger. Maybe try Skype or Windows Live Messenger for video chat.

My camera is not working cannot find the necessary

What is your operating system. If you upgrade your operating system to windows 7, your driver will be outdated and needs driver compatible with your windows 7.

I cannot install my pk-635 web cam driver to my windows 7 pc

Try running the installer in compatibility mode (Vista or XP).
Alternatively, you can try to find a compatible webcam driver.

Hi,
(http://www.a4tech.com/driver/A4%20PC%20Camera%20H.rar)
to download driver for your web cam (win 7 compatibility) from official site of A4tech.
since it is rar file you need software like 7zip or winrar
follow the instructions below for proper installation
  • Save driver somewhere where you will remember after download . i recommend that you save it on your desktop , so it will be easy to find .
  • After successfully downloading the driver , do not open the driver file until you make sure the following has completed : ***REMOVE / UNINSTALL any webcam driver from the PC . ( If you forgot to do this part , your driver may not be able to install correctly and successfully later )
  • After the original driver has been removed , open the downloaded file
  • Follow the on-screen instructions .
  • When it's successfully installed , please restart your computer .
  • After you have restarted the computer , plug the webcam into your computer and it will automatically recognize the new hardware.
i hope that this will work
regards,
cseian

Im using windows 7 and the latest skype. when i go to tools-video setting--i can see myself. but when i do skype calls it doesnt work. something about the video streaming is not compatible or something....

Window 7 will NOT play nice with anything other than the most up-to-date-hardware, you simply will have to get a web cam that IS supported by Win 7. You may like to try this-->>
It may or may not work, but try installing as Administrator and setting the program's EXE into "Compatability Mode for XP SP2",and also, running as Administrator. Windows 7 just doesn't want to support any hardware over like a year old... Drivers are a HUGE issue. Especially for older stuff. Compatability Mode is one way round it but not always. Also you will have to set to OFF digital Driver signing at bootup press F8, and at the bottom you will see driver signing.... EVERY TIME you boot you MUST set this OFF, or it will simply not work, thats if it does install anyway. You MUST have it OFF to install as well.

PK-635M camera doesn't work on win7

Download the software that worked with your previous OS
Right click on the webcam icon and click 'Properties'
Click the Compatibility tab
Check the box to run in CM and enter the OS in the dropbox
Click Apply and OK
You may need to check additional boxes under 'Settings' but that will be trial and error
Any feedback will be useful.

Install A4 tech PK635 M web cam without cd installer

Hi,

Just plug the webcam in and windows will automatically install the drivers, if it asks for the drivers just insert the disc, when you do this windows will auto play the CD so just shut down the auto install program and leave the disc in the drive and carry on with the driver installation manually.

Here is the driver download as well: http://www.a4tech.com/ennew/download%20driver.asp

Cheers
