My flash has stopped working for some reason - I tried to use it yesterday and all of a sudden the camera takes pictures without the flah. I went on the flash settings and made sure it was set on Auto and then tried to take the picture again but no flash still. I then set the flash to go off on every picture but still the flash did not go off I would like to know how to get the flash working again Thanks

Either your batteries are weak or your flash is dead.

Cannon EOS Rebel XS shows busy display stopped working

Just got a brand new camera. Played around with it a few nights to learn all the parts and buttons. Went to a concert tonite. While waiting for the show I took many test shots to see how the camera would work under these contiditions. Used a 75 to 300 Cannon lens. I had just got the settings about right when the show started. All of a sudden the display went dark and "busy" flashed in the view finder. But it would not take any more pictures. Taking the battery out and removing the sd card did not help. The auto focus and flash still worked but nothing else.
This camera is going back to the store if I can't get some help. PLEASE............. vj

Flash issues

It means that the battery is charging the flash! Wait a while and it should stop. Then take your photo.

Do make sure your battery is fully charged.

Nikon Coolpix L4 flash not working

This has happened to mine a couple of times. I cannot select flash, and the blur indicator is on most of the time.
Solution is to go into 'menu', select 'SET UP' then 'reset all'. My flash selection then works again.
Since one doesn't tend to set much up with a basic camera like this, resetting shouldn't cause any issues.
Hope this helps

Can't get the camera to Flash

EXACT same problem. Tonight I tried to take a picture and heard a loud pop sound but I didn't think it was my camera... anyway it took the picture but didn't use the flash. Later, my sister went to take a picture with the flash and it made the same loud pop noise and now the camera wont work if the flash is on.

If the settings was correct, force flash or autoflash, and while pressing shutter button halfway the flash indicator lit, and firing the shutter no flash(not firing). then flash assy is defective, and needs replacement. thanks

E9101 flash error.

Hello Sayrah, there is no way you can fix it yourself. E9101 is an abnormality when flash is being charged. Contact your Sony dealer or local authorized Sony service facility. Best regards, Arpad
