I would recommend calling Garmin direct. They may be able to provide a registration code to you.

Dont know how you enter address as well as postcode

if you select enter city location instead of post code it will give you that option. you can leave some fields without putting anything in them to get the the street option just by selecting next or done on the screen that asked you for the city for example on the city entry option enter noting then it will give you the option for the street and number option.

Trying to register a new Garmin sat.nav. So far

Try this link. If you can't just click on it, copy it to your browser line, not a search engine like google.

GARMIN LOCK

Hello!

Place your thumb nail in the groove located under the Garmin logo on the bezel.

Gently pull off the faceplate.

Press the reset button.

If it still asks for a code and you don't have it, it should ask you to drive to a secret location to unlock the device. If you don't know the location, the only other option you have is to send the unit to Garmin to be unlocked. You can also try to call Garmin with the serial number and see if they can do something less annoying to unlock it.

Garmin300nav

When I bought my dad's old Garmin I had to contact the manufacturer and let them know what I had done. They gave me the correct code to be able to do this. It has to do with the registration of the product. Try this website:

I need a registration code for garmin nuvi 660

You need to register your product first on www.garmin.com. The product code needed is located behind your sat nav on the barcode sticker. Once you are asked to enter this on new maps or updates etc, it will tell you if any are available. Most you have to but.

If you bought it new, contact Garmin and they should be able to look up your registered unit ID, and send you a replacement CD with the mapping software.

Registration code

You will have to buy a regular copy of Mapsource NT (do not buy the update version). The regular copy will come with a serial number and then you will have to register with www.garmin.com to get the unlock code. Also you will need the unit serial number on your i3, (it can be found by removing the battery cover).
