Failed recharging of cell

I plugged in cell to recharge; instead of the usual "battery recharging" the sign came up with a blank blue screen. I opened it and it showed at top of screen something to the effect of UBS Data Port & then something about loading data. Bottom of screen said battery low recharge. I tried charging-nothing happened. We tried putting in different battery-nothing. NOw screen is black & I can't turn on at all.

Big blue speaker repair

Lithium ION batteries are usually rechargeable. The use mode for these batteries is that there are a set number of recharges that equate to the life of the battery. Usually that life is approximately 1,000 charges.
If you use your battery to 50% then recharge, you can do this ~2,000 times. As the life of the battery is used up, the maximum charge lessens which means where you may have had 8 hours of play time when the battery was new, you will only have 6 hours as the battery life is used up.
In order for a Lithium ION battery to recharge there must be at least a small amount of charge left as a "seed" for that recharge. If you drain a L-ION battery down to zero, it may never recharge again or the max charge will be reduced to an insignificant amount of the original full charge. eg instead of 8 hours you may only get 15 minutes, or 5 minutes, or no minutes.
You are much better off recharging when 50% depleted than using it up til your product stops.
L-ION batteries cannot be repaired only replaced. Most cheap products using L-ION batteries cannot have their batteries replaced.

If the speaker is under warranty get it replaced.

Taking the speaker apart to replace the battery will compromise or even destroy the acoustic properties of the speakers. Big Blue Live Wireless Bluetooth Speaker

Presario CQ62 notebook pc charge problem! when I plugged charger its light always turn to flash and it says not recharging. But when I off my pc the orange light always show. Plz help

How old is the battery? In what year was it manufactured?
Batteries _DO_ wear out, i.e., fail to recharge.
You can either buy a new battery (eBay is a good place to look),
or find a company that disassembles the battery, and replaces the cells that take/hold a charge,
i.e., like replacing the batteries inside a flashlight, instead of totally discarding the flashlight.

I accidentally dropped my camera and now the lens won't go in! Also, nothing shows up on the screen :(

As an Olympus user, i have experienced the problem. A blank, or blue screen usually means that your computer has malfunctioned and possibly can no longer be used. To troubleshoot, try to remove and re-insert your battery and then power it back on. You can also try to recharge the battery and try this again.

Battery light flickers 4 orange and 1 blue and the battery wont charge?

Battery has failed, you will need a replacement. The battery has an internal failure (Usually a bad cell) and while it may still function, it will need replacement. Average life of a portable battery is 300 to 500 discharge/recharge cycles

K800i cannot open when im trying to open!!some people help me!!

hi thanks for using fixya!!

Is the problem is you cannot turn on your phone? try to remove the battery and install the battery back again, they try to turn on the power, if doesn't open, try to recharge it, if the recharging is not responding, perhaps the problem is with your battery or charger.

I suggest that you bring your phone to the service center.

If you need further assistance, let me know.

pls rate me positively! thanks!
