So, first disconnect all power and AV cables from the back of your Xbox 360 console and also unplug the power cord from the wall socket, wait for a minute then reconnect them all back and try to turn on your Xbox 360 console once more.

Firstly check all cables are inserted correctly, the 360 will show a complete red ring if a cable is not connected securely. If all cables are secure, then it sounds like the onset of the red ring of death. easy enough to cure if you got the technical know how, if not give me an email and i'll try and help you out.

I think better call Xbox Support. they have three years warranty for that specific error.

this might be a hardware failure. try turning it off then back, or try keeping a fan on it when you play on and if that doesn't work call 1800myxbox there you'll find step by step instructions to send it down to texas and get it fixed. if that happens three times you will recieve a brand new xbox 360 that has that problem fixed. also keep in mind to keep your hard drive before you send it to be fixed. i really hope this helps with your problem

Depending on what error code you get, try fixing whatever the corresponding error message is, above.

This is either an error code or the 3 red lights of death. If it is the 3 red lights, and not an error code, you will be under the extended warranty. If it is an error code, hope u are under your origional warranty.
