Recently, comcast has released a new DVR, programming the remote however to work with my Panasonic PV-C2541 TV/VCR combo has not worked. Even 'searching' for the code did nothing after 30 minutes of searching. Does anyone know the 5 digit code for this model?

You will most likely have to use a VCR code and program it to the AUX button.

You can also try to manually search for the code:
Turn the TV on
Press TV or AUX
Press and hold "Setup" until TV/AUX blinks twice
Enter 9911 and press "Power" using the Comcast remote
Press "Channel Up" until device powers off
Press "Setup" to lock in that code

I don't mean to be rude, but comcast's website was the first thing I checked. It was utterly useless to me. As far as VCR codes, they don't even list them for the 5 digit code they gave me. Supposedly it's the Comcast Digital Adapter Remote (DTA) yet in the pamphlet it said it's a DVR remote... Go figure.
