First check the settings on the car base. Usually there are 3 settings so most likely the setting you adjusted it to is too high for your baby. You have to remove the baby form the car seat (smile), check the setting level (at the front of the car seat) and adjust accordingly. Good luck i hope this helps!

You can go to the evenflo website and look up replacement parts and enter the model number and such and you can download the manual and/or also can have them send them to you.!!

Okay okay--do not do anything with the big pieces behind the babies back but the gold clips at the **** area..pop those out and shove that piece and the clip and the chest clip through the back of the strap hole--then reput the strap through the slot you wish then the gold pieces back through the bottom and of course pop the gold pieces back--again do not use the upper clips behind the back to do this :0)

Please click on the "Replacement Parts" tab at our website and enter the model number and date of manufacture from your product. You will then see a list of replacement parts, which include the instructions. If you click on the words ?view instructions? you will be able to download and print them.

Just in case you don't still have the number; 1-800-233-5921, Monday - Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. I've asked them to send me a manual but i doubt if i can get it before the end of the holidays - here's hoping. :)
