Red power light comes on and you hear a click, but no sound or picture comes in now. A few days ago picture and sound would come in if you left the power on and waited but once you turn it off and turned it on again no sound or picture at all.

I think its the fan that needs to be replaced. or it could be the bulb.

Try to open the bulb assembly unit and take out the bulb and put it back in. If you have an extra bulb, replace it and see if works. This worked for me. The bulb i bought wasnt compatible

Picture is black. sound went out a few weeks ago and now all that seems to work is the red power lamp turns on and I hear a click but that's all. I am not concerned about the picture since it is c

The click is a power relay on the main board and if the red light is on I would suggest looking inside to see if it has more than one relay--follow the power cord into the set----some of these sets have one relay but others have up to 3.

They are know for sticking open or shut. A tap on them can free them..A look inside even by a novice may also reveal something burnt or unplugged etc.

Hitachi 57TWX20B powers on ( but no picture or sound)

f you had multiple power outages, i would contact the power company or/and insurance company and it should be covered under that, but sounds like power supply problem if you had power surges
if lighting cause it then it could be anything.

After i power it on, there is no pictures, no sounds too.

Does the red light come on? Do you hear a relay click, Have you unplugged and plugged the set back in? Short of opening the set up you probably have a power supply/deflection issue and will require a tv technician.

I have the same problem with mine. i,m pretty sure that it is the built in surge protector is bad. Try unplugging the tv for 30 seconds then plug it back in and turn it on. If your surge protector has not completely gone bad this might work a few times. mine won't turn on at all anymore.
