My lexmark lazor printer , prints too lite - Lexmark E232 Laser Printer

1. Disconnect the power cord from the back of the product, and then wait for 20 seconds.
2. Press and hold # and 3 on the product control panel while connecting the power cord to the back of the product.
3. Release the buttons when the product turns on. The reset is complete.

In this case what i would Request u to do is.........
Goto Control Panel goto Printers folder.........
There u will see the Lexmark Printer Icon...........
Just right click on the Printer Icon and click on Properties.........
Now click on Advanced and goto Print Processor.........
Change it to Lexmark NTEMF 1.0008........
Click on Apply click Ok now try to Print..........
Prints Fine............Issue Resolved........
Same Problem........
Download the Lexmark ToolBar from:

Restart your computer once and now try to print using the Lexmark Tool Bar..........
It should work fine........

Make sure paper type settings are correct and the meda you are using is selected in the driver.
Will it print a demo page properly and a document lite?, or is everything lite?

This is a Lexmark printer with dell covers, The drop down PCR Rollers are also a cause of lite print. These can be removed and washed with a clean damp cloth and water.

What a sneaky way to try to get business

There should have been instructions with the replacment drum unit, for resetting the drum counter.

If not check your manual, or if you can't find it, download ot from Dell website

Sorry your having this issue. Because Blue is a lite shade of Black, or a combination of red yellow and green ???? Point is even if you have only a black ink cartridge, or only color cartridge. Blue should be visiable and able to print.

It sounds like the belt that moves the printhead is worn out or, the print carriage is stuck. With the ppower turned off, lift the lid and gently try to move the printhead back & forth. If it doesn't get stuck, the belt's bad. If this is the problem, replace the printer. It's close to the same price as replacing parts.

Sound like residue from the protective tape that was on the cartridge. Take the cartridge out and clean the copper contacts with a Q-Tip dipped in alcohol. VERY lite-ly... I have seen a lite glaze from the tape stopping proper contact if the were on the store shelf very long....

plz perform a head clean, deep clean from the printer printing properties
