Kenmore humidifier model 15420 wont turn on.

If its like mine, one or both of the fans short out causing the fuse to blow in the controller. I was running with a replaced fuse and 1 fan while waiting for a replacement fan. The remaining fan also blows the fuse now. I think maybe there is a fan issue?

Where is fuse for ecoquest freshaire

Mine is on the back, just above the pluggin for the cord .
The fuse may be accessed by unplugging the cord from the back of the unit and gently pulling the fuse holder stright out. 100 & 110 volt models use 1.6 Amp slow blow fuse.
220/240 volt models use 1.0 Amp slow blow fuse. Got this info from my owners manual. I would also check to see if the on/off switch in on, this is just above the fuse. I hope this helped.

Absolutely nothing happens when i turn it on, it says to check fuse. how do i figure out where the fuse is

The fuse is contained in a compartment just above, but integral to the plug receptecle on the unit (where the cord plugs into the unit). First unplug the cord from the unit. Next pry the fuse out with a small straight screw driver. If you own the 110v version (as opposed to the 220v unit) you'll need the 1.6 amp slow blow fuse. For the 220v unit use the 1 amp slow blow fuse. Just match up the fuse you remove from the unit. The above information was found in the manufacturerers owner manual. Have you checked the fuse? It is located in back of the Breeze in the fuse holder next to where the plug connects to the purifier. It uses a 1.0 Amp slow blow for 110 volt models and 0.5 Amp slow blow for 220 volt models.

Purifier doesn't go on and keeps blowing fuses when turned on

If the machine keeps blowing fuses there is a short in the electrical circuit and it needs to be looked at by a certified repair center.
Make sure the fuses you replace are the same as the original
100,110 volt models use the 1.0 amp slow blow fuse
220 volt models use the 0.5 amp slow blow fuse.

I hope this helps
