The push button at 2 o'clock is START/STOP/RESTART button for chronograph function. Push button at 4 is for RESET (it resets chronograph hand to zero when pushed). Crown at 3 is for time and date setting. When pulled out to first click, it changes the dates by the means of turning it. When pulled out to the second click, it sets the time by turning it.

How do I set a Danbury pocket watch with date display

If it is this pocket watch, then the crown (the bit you turn to wind the watch) has 3 positions. Position 1 is when the crown is pushed in all the way. Position 3 is when the crown is pulled out as far as it will go. In between position 1 and position 3 is a place where the crown will stop, this is position 2.
To set the day of the week, pull the crown out to position 3 to set the time. When you set the time, the bottom dial with also turn to set the hour on the 24 hour clock, if you turn the crown enough to cycle through a whole day the day of the week dial will also turn. Keep turning the crown until the time is set on the proper day of the week.
To set the date, pull the crown out to position 2, and turn it clockwise until the hand on the date dial points to the correct date.
Hope this helps!

Can someone tell me how to set date month and day on an attention manual watch

A manual watch is set by pulling out the winder.

Those with a date have three positions:-

1 normal operation

3 fully out - used to set the time

2 half way between 1 & 3 which is used to set the date and day. In this position turn it one way to set the day and the other way to set the date.

Return the winder to position 1 after setting.

Why is date on my mondaine 94145 watch 38

Date setting should be described in your manual but if you do not have it, then you can get another copy by going to their web site "modaine.com".

Select "after sales service" and a list of instructions appear. This list claims to cover all the watches they make but doesn't include the model number you quoted. Could it be that the number was the serial number for the watch?

The manual list is not too long, so it should be possible to down load the most likely looking candidates.

How do you set the date so it changes at midnight on my tourneau

Go to the Tourneau web site (tourneau.com)

Find your watch.

On the "details" page for your watch there is a box "Ask our experts a question".

At the price of these watches you should receive an excellent service!

Problem with casio sea-pathfinder watch

For all Casio watches go to www.casio.com select "Support" then "Manuals" then "Watches".
You will then be able to enter the 4 digit number in the square box to get the manual for your watch or module inside is actually what the instructions refer to.

The problem of changing functions automatically is called "Auto Display" and can be stopped and started in Sea-Pathfinder SPF-40 (modue 2273) by pressing the bottom left button for 3 seconds.

2. and then push it one click (dont push it to hard so it back to normal position) and turn the crown counter clockwise to adjust date.
3. Push the small button near the crown to adjust month.

Trouble with Fossil ME1014

I looked at a picture of the watch. I see the date. the dial that is right below the hands is a moon dial which does the phases of the moon & below that you have a separate second hand. A lot of times on a watch that looks like that if you pull the crown where you set the watch with out half a click it will set the date if you turn it on way and the moon dial if you turn it the other way. To set the moon dial on the watch you need to put it on the full moon when the moon is full again then it will keep up with the phases of the moon. I hope this helps.

Watch stops intermittently.

Make sure the dial that is used to set your watch is snug against the frame of the watch. Sometimes when people reset the time on their watches they don't push the dial all the way back in which will cause it to stop. If it is an intermitten problem it may be close but not all the way in. Some watches continue to run when they are being set; whereas, some stop when the dial is pulled to reset them.
