Check your door/'s are sealing if they leak u will get freezing occurring in the bottom and around the door will have allot of condensation.
good luck all the best . P's always lay liquid bottle on their side as they will cool quicker and be better on electricity.
besides hitting the compressor with a hammer. unplug and lay on its side for 2 hours then upright for 24 hours plug back in. Never ever unplug a freezer
this is normal until all the freon has had a chance to get recirculated throgh the system.
make sure the evaporator fan is also working in order to properly cool the freezer.
as a general rule, no. Laying it on it's side can cause the oil in the compressor to flow into other parts of the systems so when you turn it on, it may damage the compressor. The general rule of thumb is, if you should do that, you should not run the unit for at least 24 hours. This should, but not for sure, allow the oil to flow back to the compressor. I've never heard anything good from anyone who's ever done this.
Good day, Should not be done. First off you should be sure it is performing properly both in temperature and cycling before accepting it.
Layed on it's side is a **** shoot. But if your stuck, drive only smooth roads slowly, and upon arrival carefully upright it and let it set 48 hours to allow the oil to return to the compressor. If step one works out, renting a truck, if the distance is short, is best.
You jard the liquids. Did you just move it a little or move like to another house because if you move a frig or freezer somewhere or lay on it's side you shouldn't plug in for an hour or more so it all settles or it won't work. Hope this helped
You can lay the freezer on its side to move. If it is on its side for over 30 Min's though you will need to stand it up for 24 hrs before you plug it back in to the power. You need to do this so the freon settles back to the compressor.
