Downloading pictures from my panasonic DMC-LZ2 to my HP Pavilion dv5020us notebook pc

Hello. In order to view/copy-paste your pictures/videos from your camera to your computer, you should have an USB Data Cable, which, I suppose, has been given to you since you bought the camera. If you don't have any, you should contact the person that gave you this camera or you can buy an USB Data Cable from THIS website.

If you need the cable for downloading pics, you can do the same with a card reader. Readers and replacement cables can be purchased at stores like Walmart, Best Buy, Kmart.

Press power botton for 5 to 10 second

Start using a card reader instead of your camera.

try to plug it back in with out the battery see if that works if not turn off pc then plug it back in

Unfortunately, your laptop does not support SD Cards.

But, your laptop does support a USB flash drive, since it has 2 USB ports. The USB port is rectangular in shape. Then, you can copy your files to the flash drive.

Flash drives are inexpensive these days.

Does the PC pop up with anything when the camera is plugged in? if so, make sure the camera is in plyback mode and check windows explorer, under My computer, there should be a extra drive letter pop up.
If not then the USB socket can become damaged easily (have a look). If the socket is damaged, then you can either get it repaired or buy a SD card reader. that stays connected to the PC through it's own USB cable, you take the SD card out of the camera and plug it in to the reader (this is a better and cheaper option)

switch off your digi cam !!!! connect the digi cam via dta cable to the PC !!! now switch on the cam !!! keep your digi cam in display picture mode !!! now u can use your digi cam like a pen drive
