If you have tried to reset the microwave oven by turning the mains power off and on without success then it is likely the display is faulty.
The only way to repair is replace the control panel board. This can cost a lot of money.

something had been gone short due to the power socket.let the socket be ok but sometimes due to heavy voltage this could possibly happen.just check if somme parts is burnt ,turned black or smelling foul oudor,or when you on the machine now it passes burning fumes from some where.

you must remove the MW take off the cover then look for a large metal can (capacitor) and a white (ceramic) fuse...look and, smell and, you should find the cause

The PF indicates a power failure.
The range experienced a loss of electrical power.
This code is usually cleared by pressing the CLEAR/OFF button.
If you continue to get this code, you may need to unplug the range and check the wiring connections of the power cord on the back of the range.

our top elementes work but the oven and the display don't . All fuses are good and nothing looks burnt. Some smoke came from inside the oven but the elements look good.What's wrong?

Please check the power cord, by checking if there is 240V on the power terminals inside the back of the machine where the power cord is connected.

If you're getting 120V at the lampholders, yet it's not lighting lamps that still work perfectly well in other fittings, two possibilitiesspring to mind.

One is that the cap on the bulbs isn't quite compatible with the fitting. Assuming they're some variant of Edison Screw, make sure that the centre terminal in the lampholder is sticking out far enough to touch the terminal on the bulb. Also check whether the lampholder achieves it's outer connection just with a small tab, rather than with the whole of the threaded ring. If so, make sure that this is going to touch the appropriate part of the bulb.

The other possibility is that you've got a high resistance connection somewhere - not enough of an open circuit to drop the 120 V when feeding the Megohm load presented by a meter, but more than enough to kill the supply when you have a lamp load. Only way to chase this is to use the meter on ohms range to bell out all the wiring between the lampholders and bits of the system which do work properly.

It certainly does sound like the main control, this is the most common part (electronically speaking) also there is the display board(s) directly behind the control panel. This PC relays user inputs to CCU (located on top of washer ---middle rear). I havent replaced a faulty display board yet out of the 50+ ive serviced. Doesnt mean its not bad. Vahid, is the display black, nothing there? Try pressing the bake and broil pads together for 3 seconds until display shows SF. Then press clock. If this doesn't work try the ERC test by doing this; Kill the power to the range for 10 seconds. Press the cooking time, delay start and number 8 pads all together. The display should show the word test. Give this a shot first....Catriver..post back.
