Whenever i restart i get error msgs such as "SIM error" "insert correct SIM card" "reading of SIM information failed". i ahve figured that it is not problem of sim card because the same sim card works everywhere else.
my messages get stuck at sorting n doesn't end it even though the inbox is empty.
whenever any of the error messages , a folder is created in my memory card with the name "R1EA012 12175563" and contains files with name "dump20090904064851.txt.bis" which i have noticed has year-month-date-hour-minute-second of the time when the error occured.
please help .

dear brother the solution for ur prob is
actually your sim card memory is full, that's why the sign of msg memory full flashing on your cell screen.
delete 1 or more than one msg from ur sim card memory.

Well, first-of-all the "E" sign that u r gettin on the left corner of ur display is an indication that ur network and mobile both supports "EDGE" technology that is faster than "GPRS" when it comes to data transfer speeds.
Secondly, Abt ur inbox messages being deleted.It seems as if the normal message delete time limit must have been set to 1 month or so.... .That is why after the specified period those old messages got deleted.U can change the settings of ur INBOX in the MESSAGE menu itself and set it to unlimited.

May be its detecting your sim card properly. Check your sim card in another handset. Verify if its the propbelm with sim card not your handset.

the solution he make he juz format my phone not the ordinary formatting that we seen our naked eye.. he juz type on the phone a code or combination to format my phone..
in nokia i know how you can format it...itself will format itself..by juz pressing * ,3,call and hold power button..for nokia 6600 and etc...
