There are two things that can cause this, 1 there is a muting transistor on the bottom of the PCB that is a surface mount transistor that goes short. this is the channel mute transistor. when you change channels it is designed to mute the static between channel changes. if it shorts then it mutes. 2 the EE-PROM is defective and needs to be replaced. i'de go with the transistor first. if you are unequipped to do this repair have a tech do it.

My limiter is always on, no sound

Hi, i would like to know what you have running into the input side of the mixer and also what you have running on the output side. I am unclear, does it make any sound at all? Is your mute button pressed?

Youtube's automatic muting.

I've heard this is a Youtube issue. If my download speed was fast enough to set the volume a week ago it should be fast enough today. I think everyone who recently upgraded software is having this same issue. YT needs to get on top of it because it is obnoxious.

The sound/volume turned to mute automatically?

Assuming that you are using one, take the batteries out of the remote, then turn the sound up with the switches on the monitor. Tactile switches somethings get stuck. The mute switch could be one of them. If it is the one on the screen, check the "feel" of the mute button compared to the others. Damaged ones usually feel "flat".

Sound level unstable

Hi there!
You may have a button stuck either on the remote or on the TV itself. If this does not solve the problem, you may have to refer to a service technician. The IF Amp or the sound stage may be at fault. Good Luck, Regards, JUS004
