Webcam i lost my cd for my webcam is there somewhere i can search or whatever so that i can connect my webcam on my computer??? CD does not work and I want to instal driver of my new camera from internet

    what is your webcam ? brand ? model ?

    ussually you can google it with brandname and model number

I've just abandoned that, Mikomi camera is probably an unsupported mistake . Thank you very much.

Extract all the files on to a folder and manually install the camera by giving the path to DRIVERS \ XP folder

You can check the manufacturer's website for the drivers, there is usually a support link or tab or page that will list drivers. You can also have Windows Update attempt to search the internet and find them. Also try drivers.com and driverguide.com to see if any others have uploaded them there. Good luck.

I lost my cd for my web cam ge please help me find a cd
This is a hardware driver issue.

If your using a MS Windows based o/s on your computer.

Try this: open your internet browser so as to connect on line,then connect the web cam per the instructions and turn it on. This should automatically open the "Found new hardware" wizard, where you can/should chose to search the web for the appropriate software.

If that doesn't work try downloading a free program called "Driver Max" and see if that helps.

These suggestions might only get you the drivers needed, and not all the "bells and whistles" from the original CD, but at least it will work.

When you connect it to your computer windows will search for the drivers. When it asks you for the cd there is a name in the window which appears and there you can get the name of the device and go to the following link you will get the driver you are searching there :
