DVD play I have a KOSS KS3102. When I insert a disc, it prompts me to use a security code. I tried making a code. It says improper code. I have tried to cancel to bypass. but it won't let me. So I can't watch DVD's Thanks. Ron

Try turning off the progressive scan. See the manual for specifics.

Hi,i suggests there is a loose or broken connection on your video connections between the Koss KS3102 System dvd player and tv. Having sound suggests the optical pickup is fine. If you did not have sound then the Koss KS3102 System dvd player could have been broken. If checking the connections doesn't work, try a cleaning disk.

Id say the word "Koss" is the problem, sooner or later I mean. Invest in something a tad more reliable and keep em clean.

I have the same problem. This works for some people, it didnt work for me. 1. Remove any discs 2. turn the unit off and unplug 3. wait about 20 secs and replug the power cord. 4. turn unit back on .Press dvd button on the remote to take unit to the dvd mode. 5.Using remote enter 76419. The display should say GOODBYE and go off. Press the power botton again to turn on and good luck

I found a few manuals that may have a similar model number but none of them contain the Koss Receiver, you may want to try a few random receiver numbers and see if anything works, these are all the universal codes i could kind for koss receivers:

I tried this, and it works prefect.
1) You do not need to have any disc in the player.
2) Press "menu" "1" "6" "7" "1" "9"
A special menu will appear with cursor pointing at region.

3) Press "OK", and the current region number is disappear.
4) Press "0", and your player now is region free.

Try 76418

If your DVD disc supports it, you will have to enable surround sound from the DVD, as well as the speakers.

Try several different DVD's and if it still doesnt work clean the dvd player if that does not fix it replace dvd player.
