Try this...turn off the television, then press the "Volume Down" button on the TV and the "Clear" button on the remote at the same time. Press them both for five seconds, then release and turn on the TV. When it's time to enter your parental password, the system should ask you to reset it. If you need to reset other settings such as picture quality or brightness, look for an "All Reset" option under the "Setup" or "Others" menus. Selecting this option returns all the settings to their factory defaults.

If it is a "minor" convergence problem you can adjust it by going to the menu and scrolling to convergence and follow prompts A cross will appear when you have reached the correct place and you do the minor adjustments as it says. If picture is bowed you have major convergence problems.

Unplug unit. Hold power button in and plug unit in while holding power button till it beeps or flashes. This will erase eveything and you'll have to start from begining. good luck. This doesn't always work and the unit may have to be reset from the factory

if you forgot your password you can reset it ,turn tv off press and hold vol< on tv and clear on the remote for 5 sec.,enter a new password next time you access the parental control menu.
