Is neither the taking pictures or viewing pictures mode working?

If it's only taking pictures that's a problem, make sure you slide the cover all the way across until it clicks. I have the same camera and have noticed it won't come on if you don't push it all the way.

2005 Dodge Dakota, 4.7L, 6-spd - For no apparent reason, while cranking to start, chattering starter, flashing headlights, flashing dash lights, slowly turning engine, NO START!

There are several potential causes for the issues you are experiencing with your 2005 Dodge Dakota. Here are a few things you can try: Check the battery. A weak or dead battery can cause the starter to chatter, the headlights to flash, and the dash lights to flash. Try jump-starting the vehicle or charging the battery to see if this resolves the issue. Check the starter motor. If the starter motor is faulty or damaged, it may not be able to crank the engine properly, causing the symptoms you are experiencing. Check the ignition switch. If the ignition switch is faulty, it may not be sending the proper signal to the starter motor, causing the engine to turn slowly or not start at all. Check the fuel system. If the fuel system is not functioning properly, it can prevent the engine from starting. Check the fuel pump, fuel filter, and fuel lines to ensure they are in good condition. If none of these solutions resolve the issue, it is possible that there is a more serious problem with the engine or electrical system.

Low Power Warning For Full Charged Camera Battieres

I have noticed that, some users asked that, there old cameras always display low power warning for full charged new batteries, or there will be a low power warning after only taking 5-6 pictures.

If you have met this question (I wish not), I'd like to share the solutions.

The this problem are so common for Canon PowerShot A series cameras when you try to powered your camera by Ni-MH batteries. This is because that, the camera judge the battery is power off by voltage of the battery. And if you use Ni-MH batteries for your camera, the Ni-MH batteries' voltage is lower than the Li-ion ones and close to the camera's judge voltage of low power, so the camera will warn you to change a new battery.

So if you use Li-ion camera batteries this questions will be solved simply.

From http://www.pda-battery.ca/camera-tips/digital-cameras-low-power-warning-for-full-charged-new-batteries/

Battery won't hold a full charge

batteries don't have a life forever. And no one can predict the life time of a battery.
So many factors influence the lifetime. But if it is draining very fast, this mostly means it has reached the end of life. If the camera does not get excessive hot, it has nothing to do with the camera. It is just you need a new battery.
To keep a battery in shape for a longer time you should charge it also when the camera is not used. Like at least 4 times a year. Always charge the battery a day before you plan to use it. Don't over charge, like charging it every day. Don't leave it in the bright sun or on a hot place.
A new battery, should be charged and discharged a few times, before it gets a full charge.
The "New" battery you bought, could be in stock for a long time. Special when you could buy it very cheap.
Perhaps in a few days you say, he the battery works fine now. But if you did charge it 3 or more times and it still does not hold a charge. send the battery back (I hope you bought one with warranty)

Battery losing charge whilst plugged in to cig lighter

I have the same problem, when the battery goes dead, it seems to do so instantly vs. just holding the charge for less time. You can replace the battery, but with the prices coming down and the fact that the map upgrades cost what they do, I'm thinking it's more cost effective to just buy a new GPS.

Change the batteries message even with new NIMH RShack batteries

The solution is to change the small 'date/time' battery. You can have the regular batteries as charged as you like, it won't make any difference. The tiny date/time battery is in the same compartment as the regular batteries, on the opposite side of the hinge. Extract it with a fingernail, it is situated on the left hand wall of the battery compartment (when the camera is inverted and the compartment open).

Low Batterie Sign

I had the same prolem. OK, try this. Try to discharge the AA batteries in some use, flashlight or else,,,,then recharge them, full charge, install the batteriers ...they should work fine....
I read somewhere that canon is able free of charge to correct a shortcircuit that the camera is susceptible to develop in the installation of batteries......But I hope the advise will work...
Remove batteries when not in use.

Battery pack or charger

Hi!

When you insert the battery , plug the power into the charger and the light turns ON (red or green) - the charger is OK. One indication that the battery is dead is when you charge it, after just a few minutes the full charge indicator will turn ON ( with Canon chargers the light for full charge is green). If that's the case, purchasing a new battery is the only option.

Have a nice day!

No power coming through charger to camera.

there are four little fuses on the mainboard but you wouldnt be able to repair them they would need to be fixed but there also could be a problem with the lens sometimes on that model that could cause the problem you have described sometimes when i repair a power cam problem it will act up again and the mainboard needs to be replaced its a good camera but a problem like that you should send it in if you still have a warranty or upgrade to a zr 830 or 850
