To change or reset margins, the keys involved are the ALT key to the left of the spacebar, the #keys 3,4, & 5.

The ALT & '3' keys are used to bypass the set margins.

To bypass the left margin, move the carrier to the left margin. Press the ALT & '3' keys at the same time. Release them then backspace the carrier to the point the new margin is wanted. Press the ALT and '4' keys at the same time to set the new left margin.

To bypass the right margin, move the carrier to the right margin. Press the ALT & '3' keys at the same time. Release them and spacebar to the point where the new right margin is wanted. Press the ALT & '5' keys to set the new right margin.
The main thing to remember is to move the carrier to the point where the new margin is needed. ALT + 3 bypasses old margins, ALT + 4 sets the left margin, & ALT + 5 sets the right margin.

Left margin cuts off

Try changing the left margin size in the page setup. Decrease the left margin size.

You could also try printing in Landscape instead of Portrait just to see if it captures the left margin.

How to clear left margin lock?

Go to the margin, press but don't the MAR REL key, space or backspace to desired location, press L. margin key.
If the margin is changing for no reason put some WD40 on the shafts that the carrier slides on.

Changing the time on the clock on my suzuki gsf 650 k6

Typically Suzuki bikes all set the same way. Turn the ignition on, press the select and reset buttons together. The trick is to press the reset marginally before the select and hold them until the time starts to blink, you will work out pretty easily which button alters hours and minutes.

I need to reset the left margin.

Use the code key..hold down while you press the left margin set key...if you have to go beyond the left margin press the mar rel key and backspace to the spot you want the margin to be. Then proceed using the code key and left margin set . On some typewriters turning them off resets all th margins..some it does not

Changing Margins

Cannot find a picture of this keyboard however the process would be similar to this.  Move (return) the carrier to the left margin. Find the margin release key. It mat be labled M REL.  or M. R. or something similar.
You may have to use it in conjunction with the code key, if this is the case the M REL or M. R. will be on the front of the key in a different color lettering.
Press the margin release key and backspace to where you would like the margin and then press the left Margin key.   If these keys require the code key you will need to hold the code key down while pressing the release and set keys.
The right margin will reset in a similar fashion only space past the margin after hitting the release.
Hope this helps.
