You can download images to a personal photo backup device such as an Epson P5000 (which is essentially a screen, batteries, hard drive, and just enough computer to transfer the pictures).
In general, the answer is no. The camera doesn't contain enough circuitry to do this, and neither do flash drives or most external hard drives.
If you need to back up your photos while traveling and don't want to carry a laptop computer, make sure you have adequate memory cards. And if you can find an internet cafe, you may be able to burn the pics to a CD/DVD and/or upload them to an internet site.
