I tried to reset a password by pushing button on reset on hawking wireless router, and went in explorer with the http://
If you press the reset button you only make a reboot.
To reset all the value to the factory setting you have to:
- Power off the device
- Hold the reset button pressed
- While you press the reset button put the power back on
Now your gateway address is again 192.168.1.254, login is admin and password is not present (leave it blank).
At the back of your device next to the WAN Port (internet port) you will find a small hole with a button inside it, turn your device off then press and hold the small button in while switching on your device, keep pressing down on the button for about 5 seconds, that will reset your router to default settings.

Try holding the reset button for 30 seconds (hold it for longer just to be sure)
Then try again
