I reloaded my bobin and began to sew. The thread

I reloaded my bobin and began to sew. The thread got all bunched up under the fabric and the machine wouldn't let me sew any more. When I took the fabric away there was a mass of thread coming from by the bobin. After I clean this up and try sewing again, it happens again. Ughhh... What am I doing wrong?

Sometimes it may look like the bobbin is the problem, when it is actually the machine was threaded with the presser foot down.

Refer to the manual for your machine and recheck the direction the thread is be feeding from the bobbin and that it is going through the proper guide(s).

Always thread a sewing machine with the presser foot up.

When threaded with the foot down, the tension is closed and the thread cannot enter. When you sew, the stitches are loose and loopy.

When this happens to me it usually is because I was to quick and missed the arm that lifts your thread to give it the proper slack needed for the next stitch,, try rethreading

or the bobbin is in backward check to see which thread is bunching to top on the bobbin.

Brother LS-2125 bunches bobbin thread then won't sew.

Check your stitch sample. Dollars to donuts it's the top thread bird nesting (also called thread nesting) under the fabric. Issues appearing under the fabric is usually top thread related. Problems appearing on the top of the fabric is usually bobbin thread related.

Remove the top thread from your machine.
Be sure to start with a brand new needle.
ALWAYS RAISE the presser foot and rethread the top.

Top thread bunching under fabric when sewing

tension could be too loose. start with bobbin tension- should allow thread to pass with SLIGHT resistance. then adjust top tension at about 2-3 to start.

How can you fix the under threading of a sewing

Check the ovious things first make sure you needle isnt broken... then make sure there isnt any thread twisted inside your bobin housing. make sure bobin is inserted correctly if those things dont help it could be an issue of timing in your machine... I work as an embroidery operator in a factory setting and those things usually help..

Bunched bobbin thread

Try changing the needle. If you're using the wrong needle for the type of fabric, this could happen.

Thread bunches from the bottom while sewing.

Hello, sewing is a part of my income and I've encountered this problem before and managed to fix it on my own, by trying out these different things. I re-threaded the machine and checked to make sure that the tension is not too loose. Check the bobin and the sack the bobin fits into, sometimes it comes loose too, click it back into place and re-do the bobin. adjust the tightness of the stiitches, I usually put it on 2 .5 - 3. Hope this helps. Good luck to all. [email protected]

I have model 8280 and the bobbin thread keeps bunching up on the bottom. I have tried to rethread it but it keeps happening.

i think your putting in your bobin backwards,
to check put your bobin in and hold bobin , and bobin case by thread if it unrolls its backwards,
hope this helps!!
